"Play it Again, Sam!" is a Piano Man show,

starring Sam Hyde on piano and vocals. His solo

act is a fresh and exciting blend of crowd

favourites - including recent classics from the

likes of Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars & The Weeknd,

as well as honoring all-time greats such as Sir

Elton John, Billy Joel & Jerry Lee Lewis.

The live set is a powerfully colourful collection,

with sparkling piano and a memorable tenor voice

crowning the performance.

Sam’s latest project is the award-winning Elton John vs. Billy Joel NZ Tribute show - which won best show (“Best in Play”) at the Wellington Hospitality Awards, and is a 2-hour tribute show packed with hits performed on baby Grand Pianos by himself and Cam Crawford of Blue River Baby fame.

Sam also teams up with Cam to form popular piano duo Cam & Sam Dueling Pianos - who are regulars on the Wellington night scene. They invite you to request your favourite songs - YOU become the DJ for the show!

As well as the Elton/Billy show and Dueling Pianos, Sam offers an ‘add-on’ digital DJ service as DJ Sam - dance music sets that specialise in classic rock and modern dance music. This proves to please a wide age-range audience and keeps the dance floor pumping! “DJ Sam!” supplies a state of the art sound system suitable for up to 120 people.

Sam has been involved in the entertainment industry for 25 years; he is a current and founding band member of Wellington’s ever-popular Uncle Monkey who have toured Australasia, the UK & the USA extensively.
